How a round works
- Read the current theme below.
- Submit your number, your fact and a way to verify it (a calculation, source or tool link).
- Judges score entries on accuracy (40%), surprise (30%), clarity (20%) and usefulness (10%).
- Winners are announced on this page and contacted by email.
Current theme: numbers that are also places. ZIP codes, PIN codes, area codes or postcodes with a story, like 36118. Entries close at the end of the month.
Prizes
Winners are featured on 36118.com with a link of their choice. Additional prizes for each round are funded by sponsors and supporters, and are listed here when the round opens. Become a prize partner or fund the prize pool.
Official rules (summary)
- No purchase or payment necessary. Void where prohibited.
- Open to individuals who have reached the age of majority where they live.
- One entry per person per round. Entries must be your own original work.
- By entering you allow 36118.com to publish your entry with credit. You keep your copyright.
- Judges' decisions are final. Prizes are not transferable, and winners are responsible for any taxes.
- Personal data is used only to run the contest, as described in the privacy policy.
